이 작품은 독일 하노버음악원에서 시작되었다. 타악기실에서 악기 냄새들 사이에서 찾아낸 아프리카 북 하나를 가지고 작곡하였으며, 장구로 헝가리에서 세계초연하였다.
이후 많은 연주자들에 의해서 연주되었으며, 최소리의 연주가 국악방송에서 방송되었고, 아리랑 TV에서 인터뷰와 함께 조명되었다.

“생명을 숨이라고도 하잖아요. 숨을 불어 넣었다. 생명이 생겼다는 의미가 있는데, 그런 삶과 생명 자체에 대해서 많이 표현하려고 했던 작품이고...아프리카 악기인데 어떻게 하면 한국악기로 표현할 수 있을지 굉장히 연구하셨고, ... 움직임들도 아주 잘 표현하시고, 최소리씨를 통해서 거의 재탄생했다고 볼 수 있는 그런 곡입니다.” (아리랑 TV)

This piece began at the Hanover Conservatory of Music, drama, and media in Germany. It was composed with an African drum found among the scents of instruments in the percussion room and was world premiered in Hungary as Janggu version.
Since then, many musicians have realized worldwide; among them, Sori Choi had a European tour with Korean Music Project, and one of those shows was broadcast on Gugak Radio. Also, Arirang TV highlighted along with an interview on the piece.
"Life is also associated with breath, so ofr instance, we say we breathe new life into something. I tried very hard to depict life and breath through this piece. Choi asked many fundamental questions about performing this piece with Janggu. She pondered if the piece could actually be performed with it because it's written for an African drum.She studied hard to fully convey the original characteristics of the piece with a Korean instrument."
