바이올리니스트 안라영이 내달 20일 오후 2시 서울 예술의전당 IBK홀에서 리사이틀을 한다.

'뉴코리아 소나타'라는 제목을 내건 이번 공연은 세월호 참사로 슬픔에 빠진 한국 사회를 위로한다는 취지로 열린다.

미국 작곡가 조세프 워터스가 이번 연주회를 위해 만든 '뉴코리아 소나타'와 터키 작곡가 파질 세이의 '바이올린과 피아노를 위한 소나타' 등을 연주한다.

'뉴코리아 소나타'는 아리랑과 애국가를 서양적 감성과 현대적 기법으로 재해석한 곡으로, 음악을 통한 화합을 주제로 하고 있다.

피아니스트 강효지, 색소폰 연주자 마이클 쿠퍼가 협연한다.

Violinist An Ra Young will perform her recital at the IBK Hall of Seoul Arts Center at 2 pm on the 20th of next month.

She held this performance, 'New Korea Sonata', to comfort the Korean society grieved by the Sewol ferry disaster.

'New Korea Sonata' is a song that reinterprets Arirang and the national anthem with a Western sensibility and modern techniques, and the theme is harmony through music.

Pianist Hyo Jee Kang and saxophonist Michael Cooper perform together.
